Ploughman’s Lunch

INGREDIENTS
4 slices crusty bread,
crusty bread rolls or
1/2 baguette
40g butter
250g mature farmhouse cheddar,
Stilton, Cheshire or double
Gloucester cheese
Aristocrat Cocktail Onions
4 tablespoons Aristocrat Chutney
or pickles
2 tomatoes
Aristocrat Bread & Butter Cucumbers
Salt and pepper
Grapes

METHOD
• Arrange the bread on a large platter
or plate
• Cut 125g of cheese per person,
it is nice to have a choice of two
cheeses, such as Cheddar and
Stilton - arrange these on the same
platter/plate.
• Put the pickled onions, cucumbers
and chutney or pickles on the side
of the plate, along with the tomato
and grapes.
• Make sure there is salt and pepper
available, and serve with a nice
chilled beer or cider!
